Graham joins BMF Plumbing & Heating sector

Plumbing and heating merchant Graham has joined the Builders Merchants Federation.
Graham will play an important role in building the reputation and influence of the BMF’s recently formed Plumbing & Heating sector.

Graham, which began trading in 1936, is part of the Saint-Gobain Building Distribution Group with 180 branches across the country. Sister company Jewson was the first of the major national chains to rejoin the BMF in 2007.

Graham managing director David Gledhill said: “I am keen that Graham plays a full part in the BMF and looking forward to attending the next Plumbing & Heating sector meeting in November. I also believe that Graham can benefit from the BMF’s wide range of services, such as training. ‘Knowledgeable staff’ is one of three key promises we make to our customers and while we are constantly evolving our own programmes, I am sure we will also benefit from the many training opportunities offered by the BMF.”

BMF managing director John Newcomb, said: “This is further evidence that the BMF’s Plumbing & Heating Sector is going from strength to strength. I’m delighted that Graham sees the benefit of membership and has pledged to play a full role in the Federation going forward with representatives at both the next Plumbing & Heating sector meeting and at our annual Members’ Day event in September.

“By involving the industry across all sectors we really are seeing the fulfilment of our mission to represent One Industry with One Voice.”
