Setting off from the Glasgow Hillington branch, the team completed a 30 mile round trip.

“The weather was pretty bad that day,” says Jim Gray, general manager of Graham‘s Glasgow family of branches,

“So Fiona Sweeney (general manager of the Clyde family) and I went to meet them all at Lochwinnoch armed with tea, coffee and sausage sandwiches. I think they were definitely much appreciated by that stage!

“The team did really well to complete the challenge in such miserable weather so well done to them all – it’s a fantastic achievement to have raised so much money for such a good cause. In fact, everyone is so pleased with the cycling success that we’re looking at making it an annual event.”
