Builders merchant Gibbs & Dandy has appointed Mike Limburn as the manager of its Portsmouth branch, one of its flagship outlets.
Limburn, who has 16 years’ experience in the merchant industry, began his career as a branch trainee. A rapid rise led to him being promoted to branch supervisor just four years later.
Over the years, he has built up a wealth of knowledge and experience that has helped him climb the career ladder, from assistant branch manager to his current role.
Limburn said: “I’m really looking forward to working for Gibbs & Dandy and I’m excited about this new challenge. I’m a local so I have great knowledge of the immediate and surrounding areas.
“I consider myself a people person with a passion for sales and I can’t wait to build relationships with new colleagues, customers and suppliers, as well as maintain and strengthen existing ones.”
