George Osborne visits Travis Perkins

Builders merchant Travis Perkins received a visit from the Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne last week.

George Osborne visits Travis Perkins

The Chancellor was at Tilbury helping Travis Perkins to find out about the company’s four new Range Centres, which will allow all branches to offer next day delivery on any heavy side product.

Cardiff’s 7,820 sq m Range Centre opened in December 2014, joining the existing centre at Warrington. Tilbury is set to open in July 2015 and Coventry in June 2016. Home to an extensive range of heavy side products, each Range Centre will supply hundreds of Travis Perkins plc branches, ensuring that every branch has immediate access to a much wider range of stock.
