Flexible flat packs from Keystone

The single element cavity tray system from Keystone Lintels, presents a lightweight, simple to install and long-lasting solution to preventing dampness and rainwater from penetrating below the roofline.

Flexible flat packs from Keystone

The IG cavity trays come in easy-to-handle flat packs, which are pre-creased and hand-folded on-site. And, as they’re available in three sizes, give the specifier and builder the flexibility to cover a wide range of roof pitches and cavity widths.

Designed for use in a variety of applications, IG cavity trays can be used where the external wall changes to that of an internal partition below the roofline (i.e. gable abutments on new build or a lean-to extension on refurbishment projects). Similarly, where a flat roof is resurfaced or reconstructed with extra insulation, the roof level may be raised resulting in the skirting and damp proof course to be lifted leaving room for water and damp to seep in.

They can be used as a refurbishment system to replace old, poorly constructed or rotten existing cavity trays, or in new walls as a first time installation.

The single element system makes the calculation of quantities and transportation very simple, they are fully compatible with all building materials, and, with the largest bridging piece catering for cavity widths from 50mm to 100mm, enable flexibility of design and installation.
