Flex-R joins BMF

Specialist flat roofing supplier Flex-R has become a supplier member of the Builders Merchants Federation. The decision comes after the company won two merchant supplier awards last year and, the company says, demonstrates its commitment to supplying the builders merchants sector.

Flex-R has been selling synthetic single-ply EPDM membranes to the market for over the past 25 years, consistently enhancing its product offering, technical training and overall service to this market.

Danny Cole, Flex-R trading director says: “It is a perfect time for us to join the BMF as a strategy for continual improvement across the business and to demonstrate our commitment to this route to market. Our merchant business continues to grow, and this membership will help us strengthen our relationships in this area. Active involvement will improve our knowledge and expertise, ultimately enhancing our service.”

The BMF membership comprises over 1000 building materials businesses that collaborate across the industry. It is an active federation with many initiatives that bring merchants and suppliers together to work more closely. It works with government bodies across the UK to stay up to date with topical issues, industry changes and new regulations. It also values and supports learning and development through its network, which aligns perfectly with Flex-R’s emphasis on training.
