Building Plastics Wales Ltd, a family-run supplier of home improvement products to trade and DIY customers, has chosen MAM Trader to support the needs of its growing business. The company recently opened its second branch and needed builders’ merchant software that would be simple to implement across the two locations.
Vaughan Colley, managing director of Building Plastics Wales, explained that the company needed a system that staff members would find easy to use. “One of our employees had used Trader in a previous job and it came highly recommended,” explained Colley. “We had been looking for a new software provider for the past two years, but had held off making a decision.”
Trader is MAM’s innovative business management software designed for builders’ merchants. Building Plastics Wales opted for the cloud-based version of the system, which offered the level of flexibility the business needed when opening its second branch. Cloud software does not require any on-site servers, eliminating the need for ongoing updates and maintenance.
“One of the main attractions for us was Trader’s easy-to-use interface. Our staff have found it extremely easy to pick up and think the system is great, which has made rolling out the software much quicker than we anticipated,” noted Vaughan.
Trader is backed by a UK-based team of professionals, who are on hand to help customers with everything from implementation to training, and offering technical advice. Telephone support is available seven days a week during extended business hours.
“The support we’ve received from MAM has been brilliant. Everything went smoothly with the implementation of our system.
“I would definitely recommend Trader to other merchants,” Colley added.
Ben Whitehouse, senior sales manager at MAM Software, said: “Trader has been designed to help builders’ merchants such as Building Plastics Wales manage their business more efficiently.
“Many of our customers choose Trader for its easy-to-use interface, and our dedicated support team is on hand to make sure everything goes to plan during implementation and beyond.”
