Fakro agrees supply deal with NBG

Fakro has signed a new three-year agreement with builders merchant buying group NBG for roof windows, blinds and installation accessories, extending the company’s long-standing relationship with the group.
Managing director Noel Shanahan, sales director Andy Prosser and national sales manager Kevin Dixon sealed the agreement with the timber and roofing product negotiating team at the recent NMBS Conference in Tenerife.

Andy Prosser said: “FAKRO’s offering to UK merchants is based on quality and we were able to point to a consistent flow of feedback from customers who have become firm advocates for our products. We take as many merchants as we can to see our facilities in Poland, so that they can judge for themselves the scale and sophistication of our manufacturing, design and technical support capabilities.

“Word of mouth recommendation has played an immense part in our sales growth over the past five years, supporting record investment in marketing campaigns and production facilities. Quality is not just about products, but the people behind them and margin opportunities provided. We now have a sales team of 14 Business Development Managers working throughout the UK with merchant stockists backed by a team of technicians to support on-site installation training.”
