Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Eurocell Building Plastics Ltd has bought the Deeplas brand and foam roofline product range from Deceuninck Ltd.
Under the deal Eurocell will manufacture and supply the range to existing Deeplas distributors across the UK and Deceuninck Europe. Deceuninck Ltd will continue to focus on developing its PVC-U window profiles business.
“Deeplas is an excellent strategic fit, which will deliver a quality product range to new sectors of the market for us” said Patrick Bateman, Chief Executive Officer of Eurocell. “This is our third acquisition in 12 months and demonstrates our commitment to investing for the future in difficult times, to help us create better value for our customers.”
The acquisition secures the future of the Deeplas brand, through its existing independent distribution network yet will benefit from Eurocell manufacturing and technical resources.
