Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Lancashire based Easy-Trim Precast Roofing and Construction Products has been acquired from its administrators by concrete manufacturer FP McCann.
In its latest results, to December 31 2023, Easy-Trim posted a turnover of £18.1m and pre-tax profits of £233,000.
Headquartered in Northern Ireland, F P McCann turned over £415.3 million in 2024, generating post-tax profits of £52.5 million.
Director Paul McCann says the acquisition of Easy-Trim will be a fantastic addition to the FP McCann group and “a significant step in the growth of our roofing and building products division.further enhancing our product offering across our Plastic’s division.”
FP McCann started concrete roof tile manufacture in the UK in 2023 with the opening of its state-of-the-art, £30 million facility at Cadeby in Leicestershire. The factory has the capacity to produce 60 million roof tiles annually.
McCann added: “Easy-Trim’s commitment to quality and innovation in roofing accessories aligns perfectly with our own values. This partnership allows us to provide an even more robust and complete offering to the construction industry, reinforcing our position as a one-stop shop for high-performance building materials.”
