Crown Paints’ Crown Solo® One Coat Gloss in Pure Brilliant White has been awarded Which? magazine’s ‘Best Buy’ status in the gloss paint sector of the retail/DIY coatings market.
To test for long term impact-resistance, scientists artificially aged painted panels and then dropped weights onto them. They also tested for appearance retention and soil pick-up, finding Crown Solo® less prone to ‘yellowing’ and more resistant to challenging household stains and soiling such as red wine and cooking oil.
Ease of application also was also highlighted in the Which? report. Scoring 66% over four categories including application, appearance, durability and yellowing, Crown Solo® came top of its league.
