Chandlers acquires Beachwood Timber merchant

Chandlers Building Supplies has announced the purchase of Beachwood Timber, which is based on Basin Road North, Portslade in East Sussex.
The single branch, timber merchant offers a range of sawn & prepared timber, and sheet materials together with cutting and machining facilities.

In the immediate future, Beachwood Timber will continue trading under its current name and will be referred to as “Brighton” on Chandlers’ website.

Andrew Cope, managing director of Chandlers Building Supplies, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Beachwood Timber to the Chandlers group.

“Both businesses are extremely successful in their own right, but joining forces opens up significant benefits and opportunities not otherwise available to the individual companies.”
