Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Independent builders merchant buying group Cemco has awarded landscaping supplier Marshalls with the Heayside Supplier of the year 2010.
The award was handed out at the annual Cemco Connect heavyside event.
The new heavyside supplier of the year was decorating sundries supplier L G Harris & Co. Ltd, while
timber supplier of the year 2010 went to Woodbridge Timber Ltd.
Iko plc won the award for suppliers with a turnover (with Cemco) up to £500,000, while landscaping supplier Stonemarket took the prize in the £500,000 TO £1.5m turnover category. Marshalls Mono won in the largest category, Cemco turnover over £1.5m as well as the Heavyside Supplier of the Year.
Butterfields’ Peter Worboys won the Ken Elliott prize for outstanding contribution to Cemco during the year.
