Family-run builders merchant Carvers Building Supplies has announced Julian Aleksandrowicz as the winner of its Driver of the Year 2025 award.
The award recognises excellence across several key areas including reliability, delivery efficiency, customer service, and punctuality—all of which contributed to the points Aleksandrowicz consistently accumulated over the last 12 months.
He was officially named the winner during a presentation held on January 31. Other drivers recognised through the Drive of the Year programme included : Kristian Wharton, who received second place and Pete Brady in third place.
Carvers Transport Manager, Steve Haskett said: “This award is well deserved. Julian has worked incredibly hard on behalf of the business and truly represents the ethos of a great driver.”
As part of the award, Aleksandrowicz was presented with a £1,000 holiday voucher, donated by sponsors Greenhaus DAF and Treads, which he chose to raffle off to raise funds for local specialist palliative and bereavement support charity Compton Care.
