Worktop manufacturer Bushboard has relaunched its premium Omega 40mm laminate worktop range.
The range upgrade is a fashion-forward mix of popular stones, trendy woodgrains and practical splashbacks in modish colours and a linear texture that keeps laminate on the button for today’s kitchens.
There are 16 new designs available for worksurfaces and upstands, plus a further eight new designs for splashbacks only. Omega will also include the Sanitized anti-bacterial protection on all of its products, the first UK worktop range to offer this benefit.
Reflecting the strong demand for granite designs, the range benefits from six new Pebblestone colours in Black, Bronze, Burnt, Sand, Silver and Pewter. Sandstone Quartz extends the best-selling Quartz palette, while Natural Grey Stone in Roche texture and Forged Black and Andorra Brown in a new Granite surface texture offer a new take on a popular design story. New woodgrains include Tobacco Oak, Natural Blocked Oak, Provence Beech and Nordic Beech.
The refreshed splashback palette nails fashion and function and reflects the growing importance of this product as an alternative to tiling in the kitchen. There are four modish colours, recognised as international colour trend favourites, of Neon, Paprika, Mulberry and Bluestone. The brand new Linear texture brings a new level of fashionable design interest to splashbacks with Blanc Megeve White and Steel Grey offering a tactile, low reflective surface that’s also easy to clean.
The upgraded Omega range offers 51 worktop designs with 39 matching, and 14 complementary splashback colours. It includes shaped components and the innovative Q3 edge profile for all worksurfaces and upstands, delivering greater realism and design flexibility.
The POS package includes new worktop stand graphics, splashback samples and worktop blocks, a brand new 40 page colour brochure and swatches. Special display rates for new worksurface are also available. Current retailers are automatically mailed a launch upgrade box containing all materials.
