Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
A customer at builders merchants FKS Buildbase, has won a £3,000 bathroom in a competition run by Lafarge Plasterboard.
The competition was open to anyone who bought Lafarge Plasterboard’s GTEC Aqua board from participating builders merchants over a given period. The winner, Neil Weight, was selected from hundreds of entrants across the UK.
Weight, who owns Newbury-based NC Weight Heating and Plumbing and fits high-end bathrooms across Berkshire and Oxfordshire, is a customer of FKS Buildbase in Newbury.
The prize was presented by Lafarge Plasterboard’s Mike Cocks and Steve Martin, FKS Buildbase manager.
Lafarge Plasterboard’s GTEC Aqua Board is a gypsum based board for use in high humidity and wet areas, ranging from bathrooms to swimming pools. It is ideal for use as a tile backing board or can simply be painted, giving the user extra flexibility in designing their bathroom, kitchen or wet room.
