BSS expect positive interim growth

Plumbing and heating merchant group BSS Group plc are expecting to see positive sales growth for the six months to September 30.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, in a trading statement for the half year ending September 30 2008 upon entering the group’s close period.

Despite the more uncertain economic environment, the board anticipates that revenues and earnings for the first half will be in line with expectations, with positive like for like growth.

Whilst they expect the economic uncertainty to continue, the statement says that the group remain confident of making further progress in the second half.

For the financial year ended 31 March 2008, net debt to EBITDA was 1.5 times and interest cover was 8.6 times.

The Group’s announcement of its interim results for the six months ending September 30 2008 will be on Tuesday November 25 2008.
