British Gypsum’s performance ceilings range is to be showcased for the first time at the easyFairs Interior Fit-out Exhibition, to be held at the Excel Centre, London, on April 15-16 2008.
Designed to show that high performance acoustic ceilings don’t have to be boring, British Gypsum’s stand, No 77, will focus on the design and aesthetic benefits of the company’s range of perforated, acoustic tissue backed tiles and boards, which offer a broad range of eye-catching patterns to choose from.
Amongst the products on show will be New Gyptone SIXTO, featuring a distinctive hexagonal perforation pattern, which offers exceptional Class B absorption performance, say the company.
Also featured are Gyptone perforated acoustic boards with the new four-taper edge design to enable seamless monolithic ceilings to be created in prestige areas, where lighting conditions can be critical; and random patterned Rigitone perforated gypsum boards, with a jointing system that enables ceilings to be created without borders or visible joints.
Other innovations on stand include the Casoprano tile range, which now features an E24 edge profile; and Gyprex BIO, a biocide-impregnated PVC covered tile used in hygiene critical areas of hospitals and similar buildings to help reduce the spread of potentially fatal airborne viruses and bacteria.
In addition to product displays, the stand will feature a range of recent projects where British Gypsum acoustic ceilings have been used to overcome specific problems or meet demanding performance criteria.
