Brett Martin improve assembly

Plastic building products manufacturer Brett Martin has extended and modified its 450mm inspection chamber assembly

Brett Martin improve assembly

The assembly includes Brett Martin’s 450mm chamber base, 450mm risers, cover and cover frame, with optional sealing rings and access restrictor.

Requiring only 3 risers, chamber base and lid to satisfy the nominal invert depth of 1.2m as set down in Part H of the Building Regulations, the assembly is designed to optimise stock inventory for the merchant.

The 450mm assembly can also be easily trimmed to accommodate a surface incline of up to 15º, without compromising the fit and seal of the cover. And it can be used in deeper manholes, of up to 3m, simply by adding risers and the bespoke access restrictor.

The 450mm chamber base is available for both 110mm and 160mm drainage layouts, with branch outlets designed to optimize flow direction.

The 450mm chamber risers are ribbed for additional structural strength and incorporate moulded connecting lugs to ensure stability of the assembly before back-filling. The optional sealing ring is lubricated and simply push-fits into position to create a secure, watertight join. The cover frame clip-fits into position, with the cover itself being screwed down for security and reduced risk of unwanted removal.
