Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
Builders merchants trade association the Builders Merchants Federation is to move into a new Coventry head office on March 1.
The 7,000sq ft offices will provide accommodation for meetings, seminars and training in addition to office space for the head office team.
BMF managing director John Newcomb said: “Moving into new premises presented us with a fantastic opportunity to make the building and our working environment as green and energy efficient as possible. The space is designed to provide a hub for all our activities and we have created an environment that will be pleasant to work in and economical to run.”
A formal opening for invited guests will be held on April 30, when the opening ceremony will be performed by a major figurehead from the merchant industry and a famous personality form the sporting world in the Midlands.

The BMF will also retain a small office in London at the Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT.
Email addresses and mobile phone numbers for all BMF personnel remain the same. Landline numbers for Coventry will be communicated as soon as BT issues them.
