Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
The Builders Merchant Federation has signed up to the Rainy Day Trust’s partnership scheme.
In addition, the organization donated £4,000, raised during its conference in Portugal.
The Rainy Day Trust is the BMF’s nominated charity for the next 12 months.
The £4,000 was raised via an auction of an England rugby shirt signed by ex England captain and manager, Martin Johnson, and a British Lions shirt signed by ex Lions player and keynote speaker at the conference Austin Healey.
The Rainy Day Trust has been assisting people from the builders merchant, DIY, housewares and related industries since 1843 – helping those who have fallen on hard times with annual pensions and one-off grants.
