BMF auctions prizes for VADO rally

This year’s VADO charity rally will include a team from the Builders Merchants Federation. The aim is to raise enough funds – £15,000 – to buy a sunshine coach for Variety, the children’s charity.

The event takes place from June 7 to 10 and involves drivers from builder’s merchants to retailers and buying groups, will be challenged to trek through Copenhagen, Namur, Amsterdam, Lüneburg and Malmo in a road-legal car worth under £500.

To kickstart the fundraising, the BMF have arranged a Silent Auction of a number of top prizes. These include an executive box for 10 people at a WASPS game, executive tickets to a Manchester United home game, a ticket to the annual Bob Beaver Memorial Shoot, four-ball rounds of golf and pantomime tickets.

To bid email oz.bham@bmf.org.uk with your bid along with the reference of the item listed on the leaflet (here: VADO poster.) Winners will be notified by email on 7 June 2018. The team comprises John Newcomb, BMF CEO, James Spillane, BMF training manager, Oz Bham, membership/IT manager and Lakes Bathrooms’ sales and marketng director Mike Tattam.
