The new Goole branch follows on from the successful opening of the Hull and Rotherham branches, and will be the fourth of a strategic growth plan for the company. The branch will consist of a purpose built 23,000 sq foot warehouse, with separate showroom, trade counter and office facilities. As with our existing branches, we will offer a full range of high-quality civils, drainage, timber, insulation and heavy side building materials.

Duncan Thomson, managing director, said: ‘We are all extremely excited to announce the plans for the opening of our fourth branch. As a company we are focused on managed growth, and this addition supports that focus.’

The branch will initially have a staff of eight, with future opportunities for apprentices and graduates to join our internal development scheme.

Thomson added: ‘Creating opportunities for new people to enter our industry is paramount. We are looking forward to having talented people join the team who will develop into key members of the company, and future leaders within the builders’ merchant industry in years to come.’

BMCo has recently become a member of NBG, which has given it considerable confidence to move forward with its plans.
