Beaver’s biking bonanza

Builders merchant Ian Beaver has cycled from Lands End to John O’Groats in aid of industry charity The Rainy Day Trust.

The team of eight people set out from Lands End on Tuesday 6th May and finished 928 miles later, battered, bruised but triumphant on 16th May.

The Bike Stretton LeJog team who comprised Beaver, who is managing director of Shropshire Building Supplies, plus Ian Townsend, Dave Power, Lee Brown, Tony Griffiths, Pete Arden, Joe Green and Mark Davies.

The team were cheered on along the route by friends and colleagues from the industry, with regular updates and pictures posted on the Facebook social networking site.
