Boiler manufacturer Baxi has raised over £600 for its charity partner Marie Curie Cancer Cure after holding a ‘Blooming Great Tea Party’ last week at its Warwick office.

Inspired by The Great British Bake Off’s Paul Hollywood and Mary Berry, Baxi staff put their baking skills to the test to provide an array of sweet treats to be bought to enjoy with a brew.
The company raised a total of £628.21 for the charity, which provides specialist care to people with terminal illnesses choosing to stay at home.
Paul Hardy, managing director of Baxi said: “The tea party proved a fantastic fundraising event with everyone getting involved and producing some truly wonderful cakes. To be fundraising for such a worthy cause means a great deal to everyone at Baxi. Hopefully this fantastic sum of money will go a long way, as we continue to raise funds in support of Marie Curie and everyone who benefits from their care.”
