Astracast buys Appollo

Appollo, the power-assisted baths manufacturer, is to receive substantial investment following its acquisition by acrylic bath manufacturer, Astracast.
Astracast managing director Chris Pearson said: “The purchase of the Appollo Assisted Bathing brand was a major strategic move to strengthen the Astracast bathing portfolio and to use the Astracast manufacturing capability and resources to implement a programme of new product development and growth once more for the Appollo Brand.

The plan will see the existing range updated with the latest electronics and technology and the launch of further new products during 2014.
