Actis takes on five staff

Insulation manufacturer has recruited a number of new appointments after seeing an increase in sales across the UK.

Actis takes on five staff

The manufacturer said tightening building regulations, the approach of the zero carbon homes target and a rise in green deal enquiries are all helping fuel sales in its range of mix and match Hybrid insulation products.

Bonnie Longdon becomes area sales manager for the South of England. A former rugby player, she has a background in estate agency and aims to expand the Hybrid reputation with timber frame companies.

Increasing sales in the South West has seen Dan Anson-Hart take on the mantle of area sales manager for Devon, Cornwall, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Avon and Somerset while long established sales manager Andy Joyce concentrates his experience in the south Central area – Oxfordshire, Wiltshire, Berkshire, and Hampshire.

Anson-Hart, a former PE teacher, will be working closely with key distributors Minster, SIG and Encon and helping their builders and roofing merchants promote, specify and sell the Actis products.

“I want to make Actis a recognised brand within my region,” he said. “I aspire to have the vast majority of merchants stocking and selling the Hybrid range confidently and consistently.”

Sean Mahoney brings his expertise of working with America’s largest insulation manufacturer, Johns Manville, to Actis by taking on the role of area sales manager for the North West.

Margy Thomas and Sammy Bolton will be working in internal sales, liaising with the external team and new and existing customers.
