Independent builders merchant Kent Blaxill has presented a long-service award to one of its assistant product managers.

25 years Young at Kent Blaxill

Trevor Young has been presented with travel vouchers to mark 25 years of continuous service with the Colchester-based company.

Young was thanked for his dedication by Kent Blaxillmanaging director Simon Blaxill at a presentation ceremony.

In total he has actually worked for 35 years at Kent Blaxill, having first joined as an apprentice in 1975. He left in 1985 for a two-year spell in insurance, before rejoining Kent Blaxill in 1987 as a buyer, eventually moving to the showrooms, also as a buyer. He then became heavyside business manger before taking up his current role.
