Shower manufacturer Mira has raised over £10,000 for children’s cancer charity CLIC Sargent.

A team of 10 employees completed the Three Peaks Challenge: climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon back-to-back in just over 24 hours.
>br>They experienced a mixture of sunny skies over Ben Nevis, rain and 40mph winds on Scafell Pike and looming clouds over Snowdon. During the event the team climbed around 10,000 feet and hiked 25 miles – all with little or no sleep between peaks.
CLIC Sargent provides clinical, practical, financial and emotional support to children and young people, and their families to help them cope with cancer and get the most out of life. It is engaged from diagnosis onwards and aims to help the whole family deal with the impact of cancer and its treatment, life after treatment and, in some sad cases, bereavement.
Tom Rastall, marketing manager, who organised the event for the company, said: “It was a tough event to take on, but thankfully the training and good team spirits helped us all complete the Three Peaks together. More importantly, the fantastic support we received has raised lots of money for CLIC Sargent”.
