New look Jotun Optimal goes for 12 years

The newly re- branded Optimal range of high performance exterior coatings from Jotun Paints offers 12 years of maintenance-free timber protection.

Optimal (previously called Demidekk Optimal) is a fast acting, hard wearing and advanced water-based solution for the long term protection of exterior fencing, decking, cladding, fascias and other timber applications.

Solvent-free and odourless, it comes in a choice of new look tins – in one, three and 10 litre sizes – and has been rigorously tested in the harsh Norwegian climate. The colour palette features both subtle tones and bright bold primary colours. Product can also be mixed easily in-store to match most colour requirements.

Used in conjunction with Jotun Visir clear or pigmented primer, Optimal can be quickly applied by brush, spray or roller and is touch dry within two hours, delivering immediate protection of timber used for exterior construction or landscaping purposes.

It’s also suitable as a cost effective and highly resilient weather protection and anti-corrosion coating for masonry and steel work applications.

Jotun provides in-depth technical support as part of its on-going commitment to customer service. This includes the preparation of specifications, site survey and product training at its purpose-built centre.
