Builders Merchants Journal – BMJ Publishing to Builders Merchants and the UK merchanting industry for more than 95 years
A team of colleagues from Brewers in Brighton stormed to a bronze medalin this year’s Lewes to Newhaven Raft Race, with help from tremco illbruck.
In a raft buoyed by 30 cans of tremco illbruck PU foam, the team reached the finishing line in two hours and seven minutes, pausing only to be showered with the traditional eggs, water balloons, flour bombs and spaghetti custard as they passed under Newhaven Bridge.
The raft featured a working water pump to shower spectators and rivals.
Neal Brewer, Stuart Matthews, Barry Sheen, Mike Cox, Paul Adams and David Sheen were raising money for local children’s charity, Rockinghorse Appeal.
